I. Alcohol Detection Procedure

After the ignition is turned on, the camera requires:

  • 20 seconds to power up
  • An additional 40 seconds to warm up the alcohol sensor

The driver can begin the alcohol test after a total of 60 seconds.

When the feature is enabled, the camera provides voice guidance throughout the procedure.

II. Voice Guidance Sequence

After Ignition On (20 seconds)

1. “Getting ready: The alcohol sensor is preparing. Please wait.”

The system is initializing and preparing the alcohol sensor.

After 40 Additional Seconds

2. “Please blow continuously toward the camera for 3 seconds.”

The driver must maintain a steady and continuous airflow directed toward the camera for the full duration.

3. “Please blow harder.”

If sufficient airflow is not detected during the previous step, the system will request a stronger breath sample. Airflow must still remain continuous and steady.

4. “Analyzing sample.”

The system analyzes the collected breath sample.
